The conservative alliance has won Germany's snap election, while the far-right AfD made record gains. We want to know how you feel about the results.

Germany has spoken! Provisional election results show the CDU/CSU has swept to victory following the nationwide vote on Sunday.

The centre-right alliance scooped over 28 percent of the vote, putting them well ahead of the anti-immigration Alternative for Germany (AfD) with 20 percent, the centre-left SPD with just over 16 percent and the Greens with 11.6 percent. The Left Party (Die Linke) managed to achieve about 8.8 percent, while other parties - including the FDP and the BSW - failed to reach the five percent hurdle to make it into the Bundestag.

The centre-right alliance is seeking to build a coalition government, with Friedrich Merz as German chancellor.

We want to know how you feel about the developments of this crucial election and the issues that are most important to you.
