A motorway in southern Germany was brought to a standstill on Sunday evening after an escaped male sheep found its way onto the road, leading to a brief police chase.
Sheep farmers in a panic in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) over the wolf population can now get themselves a "herd protection set" from the the local government.
