Germany has seen a record number of naturalisations following the citizenship law reform in 2024. We want to hear: are you one of the newest citizens? Or are you applying to become German? Take a moment to fill in our short survey.

Foreign residents who choose to settle in Germany for a number of years often consider the question: is it time to become German?

After the government reformed citizenship laws in July 2024 – finally allowing dual citizenship for all – many people have taken the plunge and naturalised as a German citizen. 

We want to hear if you are one of them and what the journey was like. Even if you've not naturalised yet, we'd like to know how you're finding the process.
