This is a very insightful article. It gives a broader view of the costs of universities plus keeping money at the blocked account. I was not aware of the tax rebate. Thank you. Do universities sponsor visas for students? I would be further looking forward for such more articles, which provide more insights of different universities and fields of studies.
  • Hi Mukund, and thanks for sharing! I am not aware of German Universities sponsoring the visa fee for their students specifically, however many universities will help their foreign students with the visa process - which can make it easier and faster for new arrivals to get that sorted. There are also scholarships available, which can be put toward these and other costs. A bit more info on those here.
