Route cuts and cancellations

Munich – Cologne/Düsseldorf/Berlin
Frankfurt – Leipzig/Nuremberg
Fully cancelled routes include:
Frankfurt – Toulouse (France) from summer 2026.
Munich – Tallinn (Estonia) and Munich – Oviedo (Spain).

Ryanair
Ryanair is expanding at smaller German airports next year, with plans for new connections at SaarbrĂĽcken and Friedrichshafen Airport on the banks of Lake Constance from March. The airline says it is focusing on expanding regional routes because of the lower operational costs compared to major airports.
All three routes from Saarbrũcken have two flights per week:
Saarbrücken – Trapani (Sicily)
Saarbrücken – Lamezia Terme (Italy)
Saarbrücken – Alicante (Spain)
Here are the new connections at Friedrichshafen:
Friedrichshafen – Alicante (Spain): Two flights per week.

Cuts planned
In protest at high airline costs in Germany, Ryanair has announced plans to discontinue 24 routes. It comes despite the German government recently announcing it would reverse the air travel tax increase from next year.Â
Nine airports are affected by the cuts: Memmingen, Berlin-Brandenburg, Baden-Baden, Cologne/Bonn, Frankfurt-Hahn, Niederrhein, Hamburg, Nuremberg, and Bremen
