"Doctors aren’t supposed to give preference, though it is said that some practices might be more inclined to accept private patients more quickly, as they can be asked to pay up front." This is not an occasional rumor. it is a hard fact of life !! almost all doctors in frankfurt will give private patients immediate appointment while others may have to wait a month or more. Not to chargeup front but because they charge private patients a lot more than than what the krankenhaus reimburses them.
