Most of April has been blessed with copious sunshine, but as the month draws to a close it will bring just a few of its proverbial showers. The rest of the May Day holiday weekend promises glorious barbecuing weather for much of Germany.
Much of Germany sweated through the hottest day of the year on Wednesday with temperatures reaching nearly 36 degrees Celsius in some parts of the country.
