What does it mean?
Einkehren can have many uses, but it's most common is to "stop in" somewhere.
For example, if you're on a long car trip for hours and hours, you might use einkehren to ask to stop for a bathroom break, gas, or at a roadside restaurant for something to eat - for example.
Why should I know it and how do I use it?
Einkehren is one of those words that helps you to diversify your vocabulary a bit and vary up your speech - rather than using the simple stoppen - for example. It's also far more exact in its meaning.
