@Mark the article says: "Alternatively, you could wait for Germany's forthcoming nationality law, which will permit the holding of multiple nationalities." and there is the latest information contained here: https://brainlynet3.netlify.app/20230818/timeline-when-will-germany-push-through-the-new-dual-citizenship-law

I thought the new law did away with having to renounce existing citizenship or at least made it optional.
