Congrats on quitting; I wish you a new, favorite smoke-free bar and friends who will join you there. (I’m partially in Berlin and partially in another part of the former DDR, and I know, it’s hard to find smoke-free spots.) Keep up your motivation by remembering that quitting is a means of promoting social and environmental justice. You’re protecting the rights (and lungs) of wage workers in bars, combatting destructive forms of agriculture and waste, and taking a stand against child labor, which is pervasive in the tobacco industry. In other words, quitting is super sozial.
