Hi, where can I find the number of foreigners in Hamburg by nationality? I am referring to the data in this article: 'Hamburg: 4,395 Americans out of 302,125 AuslÀnder.'

When I was stationed at USAREUR HD Headqaurters in Heidelberg with the USAF, There were at least 50,000 American living within a 12 mile radius. There were military personnel, civilians working for ht military, dependents, University of Maryland staff, other students, and military retirees who had married German women etc etc. Today there is no american presence that is visible. The two large housing complexes,Mark Twain Village and Patrick Henry Village are used to house thousands of refugees from the Syrian War. the hospital where General Patton died and where our was born ,as well as the "American shopping center" are being privitized for development. The american imprint, economically and culturally speaking is far less than it was during the Cold War. Military operations that remain mostly involve American operations in the Middle East, not he defense of Germany. . I just wonder where all the savings went after the Us pulled out of so many locations.
