A woman flying to Vienna from Frankfurt has been charged with a breach of the peace after joking to security officials at the airport that she had a bomb in her bag.
“So, did you find the bomb?” the women asked security officials at Frankfurt airport after her hand luggage went through the X-ray machine before her flight on Sunday.
But the security officials didn't see the funny side, subjecting her to a rigorous search and interrogation.
To compound the humiliation, the airline then didn't let her board her flight.
According to Frankfurt police, the woman claimed repeatedly to have a bomb in her hand luggage.
